Professor Folke Sjöberg joins the development team as an advisor
Following the approval of the clinical trial application for ASA.P®, Auxesis Pharma is taking the next step by strengthening its medical expertise for future pharmaceutical development.
Dear shareholders,
In June, the Swedish Medical Products Agency approved our application to initiate clinical studies with ASA.P®. The process will now begin according to the previously communicated plan.
Our experience with ASA.P®, how it works and how it is developed into a pharmaceutical product gives us the opportunity to apply our accumulated knowledge to indications involving deep skin injuries, including burns, traumatic injuries and wounds within areas such as diabetes and cancer care.
We now aim to take the next step and develop a powerful pharmaceutical product that blocks pain in deep injuries. We have already made meaningful progress, and further information will be presented during the autumn.
To support the entire development process, we have appointed Professor and physician Folke Sjöberg as Medical Advisor and Developer in the development of new topical pharmaceuticals.
We are thereby further strengthening our medical expertise and expanding our professional network — an important step in the development of new medical and dermatological products beyond ASA.P®.
