CoxyPet® is Auxesis Pharma’s portfolio for topical (via the skin) pain-control treatment in animals, developed to treat pain and irritation directly on the skin.
The medicine is based on the same scientific foundation as our medicines for humans, but adapted for animals’ skin, physiology and needs.
Instead of systemic treatments that affect the whole body, CoxyPet® offers a local, precise and gentle alternative for dogs, horses and livestock.
What is CoxyPet®?
CoxyPet® is based on Auxesis’ stable, liquid form of acetylsalicylic acid.
Today there is no other OTC medicine that removes pain and irritation in the skin in a fast and targeted way. Available products often provide a cooling or temporary effect — but the effect wears off quickly and application must be repeated.
For the animal, that means:
- reduced swelling
- reduced irritation
- faster control of skin pain
- lower risk of side effects

Why topical (via the skin) pain-control treatment for animals?
Pain in animals rarely appears like it does in humans. It is often hidden behind changed behavior, restlessness, licking or avoidance of touch.
Even though much of the pain is in the skin, it is often treated with systemic medicines such as NSAIDs or antibiotics, which can cause side effects — especially with long-term use. This makes topical treatment an important new alternative.
Topical pain-control treatment penetrates the skin and acts directly on the affected area. This makes treatment more precise and often gentler than traditional options.
This treatment principle makes it possible to:
